About NARA

The Nashville Area Restaurant Alliance (NARA) was created to unite independent restaurants across Middle Tennessee with a shared mission: to build community, increase buying power, and support long-term sustainability for local operators. Born out of real industry challenges—rising costs, inconsistent vendor relationships, and lack of collective representation—NARA was formed by restaurateurs who saw strength in numbers. Through strategic vendor partnerships, educational resources, and a commitment to transparency and mutual success, NARA empowers restaurants to thrive in an ever-changing hospitality landscape.

Brandon Styll

Founder - NARA

Brandon Styll is a hospitality industry leader, community builder, and passionate advocate for mental health and personal growth. As the Director of Operations for a multi-concept restaurant group in Nashville — including Mere Bulles, Green Hills Grille, and Chago’s Belmont Cantina — Brandon brings over two decades of hands-on restaurant experience to his work in leadership development, vendor negotiations, and team culture.

He is the founder of the Nashville Area Restaurant Alliance (NARA), a collaborative organization helping independent restaurants leverage collective buying power, share resources, and thrive in a competitive landscape. Brandon is also a member of the Tennessee Engagement Council for Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to food service workers in crisis.

In addition to his operational work, Brandon is the creator and host of Nashville Restaurant Radio where he interviews local business leaders, chefs, and changemakers to amplify their stories and inspire others in the industry.

Brandon’s leadership philosophy is rooted in authenticity, emotional intelligence, and resilience. He openly shares his own journey through addiction recovery and grief, using his platforms to destigmatize vulnerability and advocate for mental wellness — especially among people in leadership roles.

When he’s not working to elevate Nashville’s restaurant community, Brandon can be found coaching youth soccer, hosting networking events or spending time with his wife and two children.
